SILVERDIN cream contains silver sulfadiazine 1% - the gold standard antimicrobial for burn treatment and wound infection prevention.

Ingredients

Silver sulfadiazine 1% releases silver ions that bind to bacterial DNA, preventing replication. Broad-spectrum against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

How to Use

Apply 1/16 inch thick layer to clean burn wound once or twice daily. Reapply if removed by activity. Use until re-epithelialization.

Indications

Second and third-degree burns, burn infection prevention, leg ulcers, pressure sores.

Cautions

Contraindicated in sulfa allergy, pregnant women near term, premature infants. May cause transient leukopenia. Monitor blood counts with extensive application.
